El Paso Corporation, based in Houston TX, USA, is the umbrella company for two core businesses involving pipelines, exploration and production. El Paso owns North America’s largest interstate natural gas pipeline system, transporting more than a quarter of the natural gas consumed in the country each day.  The company takes care to follow environmental best practices in order to keep the carbon footprint of the production to a minimum.
El Paso’s exploration and production operations find, develop and produce  oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids in a safe, efficient, and dependable manner. It ranks in the top ten domestic independent producers, operating in high-quality basins.

El Paso assets are divided among three major areas: onshore, which includes our Western U.S., Central U.S., and Texas Gulf Coast assets; Gulf of Mexico/S. Louisiana; and International, which consists of Brazil and in Egypt.
Egyptian operations include a 20 percent non-operated working interest in approximately 13,000 net acres in the South Feiran concession, located in the Gulf of Suez. A further concession agreement is signed for the South Mariut Block. The block is approximately 1.2 million acres and is located onshore in the western part of the Nile Delta.
