Al Sadat Association For Social Development & Welfare is an Egyptian CBO , which was established in year 2004 and it was registered at the Ministry of Social Solidarity under the number 1081 on 28/07/2004.
The Association from day one focused on improving the quality of life for citizens socially, economically, educationally, culturally and environmentally within Tala’s community regardless of gender, religion, race or beliefs.
Due to the limited funds submitted to the rural areas , especially to the Delta communities ( as all the funds are targeted to Upper Egypt ), Al Sadat Association adopted improving the quality of life of Tala’s community in El Monofya  governorate.

Vision

• Social justice for all community members regardless of gender, race or religion.
• Developing community leaders and enabling them to use the tools for fields research like PRA (Participatory Rapid Approach) to identify the community needs and to cooperate with other community members to reach suitable solutions.
• Improving the quality of life for community member, community infrastructure and the surrounding environment.
• Promoting democracy and transparency in decision making, self expression and human rights for the civil society.

Mission

1-Improving the quality of life of the marginalized and the poorest of the poor
Since the establishment of the association, we focus on improving the quality of life for members/citizens of the Tala's community through using PA (participating Rapid Approach) with the participation of community members in order to satisfy their social, health, educational, economical and environmental needs, while focusing on the marginalized groups of women and children.

2- Promoting the development of cultural, social and voluntary work
The Association focuses on networking with different stakeholders and participation of community members in implementing the projects activities to enhance and strengthen good morals/ethics among community members. Project activities such as : cooperation between them ( in spite of the gender or religion ), sense of belonging , development of personal skills, enhancing the cultural and artistic talents of children and participating in raising the awareness of community members through social and voluntary work.

3- Empowering & merging community members to address and overcome obstacles and challenges
The Association works on empowering & merging all community members to develop their skills in different fields and to make the best use of human power and financial resources through their participation in designing / writing and implementing projects activities, participation in raising awareness campaigns and conducting fields studies to address their needs and identify the available resources.

4-  Promoting & activating political participation
The Association  is concerned about activation citizen’s role in political participation and aims to raise their awareness of human rights & the importance of civil society role , also on empowering women at their social & political life and organizing programs that encourage the youth for political participation through the Local Council and gathering citizens’ opinion in constitutional amendments and proposed legislation that affect their lives.
